The Hole in the Wall Changes Hands!

Alex Rushmer, Masterchef 2010 Finalist to take over from Chris and Jenny

We have learned today that the Hole in the Wall in Little Wilbraham is to change hands in the very near future. Alex Rushmer, who lives in Stow-cum-Quy, has a long history with food. He is a freelance food writer and private caterer but most people will know him either from his very popular blog, Just Cook It, or from the 2010 Masterchef series where he made it all the way to the final before being pipped at the post by Dhruv Baker from London.

Alex has aparently had his sights set on an restaurant to call his own for the last 18 months, and doesn't come alone. He brings with him his business partner, Ben Maude.

Many of our readers will be familiar with Chris and Jenny and will have visited the Hole in the Wall. It will come as very sad news indeed to many people that they are to leave the pub, and we at the Warbler would like to wish them all the best as I'm sure many people will.
